What paint does galvanized steel pipe use not drop?

The surface of galvanized steel pipe is very smooth, in the long use of the substrate will also occur rust, in order to ensure the normal use of galvanized pipe, the way of painting can better protect the metal. However, for galvanized steel pipe, most of the paint for galvanized surface adhesion is not good, paint film and smooth surface adhesion is poor, prone to coating off the problem, so galvanized steel pipe with what paint is better?

ED1000 Epoxy Primer is a special coating for the surface of galvanized substrate with excellent adhesion and good protection for galvanized pipes. The main characteristics of the primer are:

1. Suitable for galvanized substrate, stainless steel, aluminum alloy, aluminum plate and other smooth metals, strong adhesion, film adhesion firm;

2, the substrate surface treatment is simple, no sandblasting, no grinding, the use of solvent to remove oil can be constructed, save manpower and material costs;

3, the film salt spray resistance is strong, up to 1000 hours, the coating is intact, with excellent anticorrosive and rust resistance;

4. The paint does not contain heavy metals, lead and chromium, conforms to the EU solvent emission standards, and is suitable for the export of workpiece coating;

5, can be matched with a variety of finish paint, such as fluorocarbon paint, polyurethane paint, epoxy paint, acrylic paint, etc.

Galvanized steel pipe must be removed before painting the surface oil, the use of solvent to wipe the surface of the substrate can effectively remove oil oil, to avoid affecting adhesion. Apply ED1000 epoxy primer by spray, mix primer and curing agent in the ratio of 9:1, add epoxy thinner, stir evenly, and coat to the specified film thickness. The recommended film thickness is 70μm.

ED1000 epoxy primer has strong adhesion and excellent corrosion resistance, but poor weather resistance, especially for outdoor use, it needs to be matched with weather-resistant topcoat. Commonly used topcoat, such as fluorocarbons paint, acrylic polyurethane topcoat and acrylic topcoat. After the primer is dried, apply the topcoat and spray to the specified film thickness. The recommended film thickness is 50-60μm.

Galvanized pipe with primer and finish coating, coating film has excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance, decorative and weather resistance, in most of the environment can be very good protection.
